Reciprocal Links...

I welcome reciprocal links on other genealogy websites, particularly sites that have anything to do with the Eastman family anywhere in Wiltshire or genealogy research in general. If you would like to add my site to yours please do so and I will return the favour if your site fits in with the "theme" of this site. Just email me with your URL and I will visit your site. I do reserve the right to deny links to other sites that have inappropriate content or have absolutely nothing to do with the Eastman family lines or general genealogy research at all.

GeneaLinks... Marriage records database and links to genealogy and history sites in a categorized genealogy directory of well-known and not-so-well-known genealogy and history sites.

Downton Village Web Site... Information on Downton as it exists today, a bit of the village's history and a page of contacts for further information if you need help about something to do with Downton.

Wiltshire Family History Society... A wealth of information on Wiltshire and the history of families that lived there. Books, CDs and fiche for sale on all manner of things to do with Wiltshire family history. Research done at a small fee.

RootsWeb.com... Supported by Ancestry.com, this website is all about genealogy research.

Genealogy.com Community Chat Forum... A real-time chat forum where everybody is welcome and help is always given in research, particularly surnames. A gold mine of information and advice from chatters from all over the world on all aspects of genealogy research.. "Look ups" are done complimentary of other chatters. Remember to put surnames in CAPITALS and please don't take advantage of the abundant generosity of fellow chatters.

Cyndi's List... Managed and maintained by Cyndi Howells, this site is an extremely detailed list of links covering the entire world in all aspect of emigration, genealogy, personal genealogy orientated websites, everything to do with genealogy research and it's a fantastic resource for any genealogist.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints... LDS has their own genealogy data base of millions of surnames. The majority of the data is user submitted, so don't take it as fact and think of it as a "heads up" for names and dates.

FreeBMD (England and Wales)... An ancestry search engine, based on British census information which is constantly being updated with new names and parishes. This is a "must bookmark" site for many ancestry researchers.

Ancestry.co.uk... A genealogy website with millions of names from all over the world on their data base. The majority of the information is at a cost, although some searches are free. Subscriptions are available.

Ancestry.com... The American sister-site to Ancestry.co.uk.

New South Wales Births, Deaths and Marriages Family History site... This site permits searches for birth, death or marriage certificates for ancestors within certain time brackets. Certificates can be purchased online and actual information that is shown on individuals is limited to the year, parents and where the event occurred.
